The site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, route changes, broad device and referral information and selected interactions such as completed calculations. These aggregated signals are used to improve navigation and content priorities.
Do not enter sensitive research or personal information into ordinary site fields. Calculator inputs are processed in the browser and are not intentionally sent as event values.
Advertising and cookies
The site may use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, measure and limit advertising. Advertising is separated from editorial laboratory conclusions.
Browser and Google advertising settings may be used to manage cookie and personalization choices. Restricting advertising cookies should not block access to the core handbook.
Optional Gemini assistant
Text submitted to the assistant is sent to a server-side Google Gemini API request to generate a response. Do not submit patient information, personal identifiers, sample identities, unpublished results, account credentials or confidential project details.
Assistant responses may be inaccurate and are not retained as editorial content or treated as evidence.
Third-party links and contact
The handbook links to cell banks, journals, GitHub and other third-party services. Their policies apply after leaving this site. Information voluntarily submitted through external services is processed by those services.
The maintainer does not sell visitor personal data. Privacy or correction questions may be raised through the project repository without including sensitive information.
